The conception of RLWC dates back to the year 1996, when Pastor David received a calling from God to be trained in His Word. For the next 7 years, he underwent a rigorous training with the Daily Word delivered by the Holy Spirit. Soon he set out to share this Living Word with enthusiastic youth groups and they began to experience God in their small worlds. As the Lord commissioned Pastor David to "Rebuild His Temple", he was lead to the city of Vijayawada.
           On the 8th of September 2002, River Life Worship Centre commenced with a humble congregation of 15-20 people in a small seminar hall. Since then, the Lord has been faithful to send His mighty Word, wrapped in the anointing that liberated lives. In a short span of time, the ministry activities expanded from cell groups to Wednesday Spiritual growth Program and the Dunamis Prayer House, which was later converted to the Friday healing services. Many were drawn to the services to receive the Word that healed, restored and transformed lives.
           We moved to the current location on 14th November 2004 as the congregation began to expand in numbers. In addition to the regular services, the Lord opened doors for various annual retreats and conferences like the Family conference, Christian Medical Conference and the Entrepreneur’s meet. We have also been blessed with a vivacious children’s ministry that trains young hearts to follow the Lord. With the Lord’s leading, we have been able to conduct various community outreach programs like the Dental Camp and the forgiveness project.
           RLWC is now a lively group of people passionate about His Living Word. We are driven by the mission to train disciples for Christ, who would stand up for His cause. Our vision is to empower the church with the wisdom of God that would be the anchor in a world of chaos and instability. Running with the purpose of God and lead by His Anointed Word, RLWC is moving ahead to conquer new Horizons and carry out the Great Commission.

            Pastor David, a fresh Engineer out of college was making plans for a professional future. It was then that the Lord called him and set him apart to be trained in His Word. A few years later he began ministering to youth, comprising of Engineering and Medical students. His ministry began to transform many lives as their hearts were convicted by the Holy Spirit. The teaching of the Word of God drew many souls to the kingdom of God.

            It was during this time that the Lord commissioned Pastor David to "Rebuild His Temple". Soon many doors were opened and he was lead to the city of Vijayawada. RLWC was started with a flock of just 15 – 20 people. The anointed Word of God began to impact the lives of many and the church began to increase to a congregation of 1000 and growing. Pastor David is passionate about empowering the church with the unfailing wisdom of God and training people as dynamic leaders, who would stand for Christ in this day and age. 

           Pastor David and his wife Soujanya are blessed with two sons, Issac and Jonathan.

           We believe that children need to be trained in the Way of the Lord by building their character, through Godly principles.

              In the Sunday school, each session begins with energetic praise and worship, where children are lead to lift up God in their lives. Sound inputs from the Bible are taught in the form of stories, skits, object lessons, and other word-based activities. With the help of games and crafts, the children are infused with Biblical values. Our programs are designed to help children to know God personally and experience Him in their small world. We conduct Summer Camps every year to rejuvenate children and to keep their faith factor high.  
              We provide special teaching for separate age groups to make sure that each child grows with sound inputs and gets personal attention. The programs for each group are customized to meet their specific requirements and interests.

 SHEEP:
        These are children from Kindergarten to 2nd standard. Action songs, pictures and special games are included in their curriculum to teach them about God in a fun and interactive way.

LIONS:
       Children from 3rd standard to 5th standard are called Lions. They learn how to walk with God, through interactive stories from the Bible, interesting games and crafts.

EAGLES:
        6th to 7th standard kids are called Eagles. They learn Bible stories with life application techniques and are taught how to relate their lives to the Word of God.
